Karatay Journal of Art and Design is a scientific and peer-reviewed e-journal published within the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of KTO Karatay University. The journal aims to contribute to the fields of architecture, interior design, graphic design, painting, fine art, landscape design, urban design, art history, and related interdisciplinary areas. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December. The journal is published in English and Turkish. There are no fees for submission or publication in the journal. As an open-access journal, Karatay Journal of Art and Design provides online access to articles after publication. Articles can be viewed and downloaded in PDF format, and their metrics can be checked on the journal’s website. As part of the submission process, authors must confirm that the submitted manuscript is their original work, that they own the rights to the work, that it is intended for first publication in this journal, and that it is not under consideration for publication or has not already been published elsewhere. The manuscript will undergo an initial evaluation by the editors. If it does not meet the requirements of the journal’s publication policy, it will be returned to the authors for revision prior to review. Manuscripts may be rejected at this stage without peer review if they are outside the scope of the journal. If the manuscript passes the initial assessment, it is then peer-reviewed by two reviewers who are experts in the field of the manuscript, and the double-blind review process begins. An evaluation report, including the reviewers’ comments and the editor’s assessment, is then sent to the authors.
