The TÜBİTAK 1512 Entrepreneurship Development Program (BiGG) has announced new implementing organizations to serve entrepreneurs between 2023-2025. The Karatay University of Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) was accredited as an implementing organization with the project it implemented in partnership with TOBB ETÜ and ASELSAN (Military Electronics Industries). "Support for 37 out of 52 TUBITAK projects". As part of the change in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, 52 project proposals were submitted for the call for proposals of the 2022 TÜBİTAK Entrepreneurship Support Program 1512, in which 163 organizations participated. As a result of the evaluations, 37 project applications ended up being supported. Reflecting the motivation of "Developing and achieving together", 32 of the 134 organizations involved in the funded projects are universities, 7 university technology transfer offices (TTOs) and TTO-AŞ, 40 technology development zones, 2 public research centers, and institutes, 2 TEKMERs, 4 research infrastructures, 6 banks, and their subsidiaries, 5 venture capital funds or angel investor networks and 36 corporations. "KTO Karatay was eligible to be among the implementing organizations". KTO Karatay University is among the 32 universities that will implement the first phase of the BiGG program in 2023-2025, which includes 134 institutions. KTO Karatay University was one of the implementing organizations under the leadership of TOBB ETÜ and in partnership with ASELSAN. In this regard, KTO Karatay University gathers and evaluates technology-oriented business idea proposals from entrepreneurs, pre-incubates suitable business ideas, conducts business idea review procedures, and supports entrepreneurs in preparing qualified business plans. "With the Entrepreneurship Support Program Come Innovative Ideas" The aim of the program is to facilitate entrepreneurs' access to finance for their technology and innovation-oriented business ideas and to rapidly realize the growth potential of companies founded through the support of BiGG.
