The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Karatay University Development-Oriented Strategic Research Center (KOSAM) at the university campus. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received information about the activities and projects conducted by KOSAM in the consultation meeting. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited and closely examined KOSAM which proposes value-added projects, contributes to sustainable development, and conducts research and studies in areas such as trade, industry, economy, and politics. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and his accompanying delegation as well as KOSAM Board Chairperson Lütfi Can Başaran and members of the KOSAM Board of Directors attended the event. ‘Our Mission is to Contribute to Sustainable Development’ KOSAM Board Chairperson Lütfi Can Başaran expressed his gratitude for the visit of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and said, "I would like to express my sincere thanks to the President for taking time for Konya among his busy schedule in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and honoring us to visit KOSAM in this busy agenda.” During the meeting, Başaran provided information about activities of KOSAM and said “Research and studies are conducted in local, regional, national, and international contexts in areas in areas such as economics, politics, trade, industry, social policy, education and the environment. Current situation assessment is made through extensive data analysis and thus it is contributed to sustainable development.” “I Would Like to Thank All My Friends for the Work Done” In his speech during the consultation meeting TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, said: "I would like to express my gratitude for the idea of establishing such a think tank, primarily to our President of the Konya Chamber of Commerce, Selçuk Öztürk, to the Konya Chamber of Commerce, to the Board of Trustees Members of KTO Karatay University, and to the Rector and academics. Konya is a major city, and it is quite natural and pleasing to have such a think tank in cities like Konya. Ideas emerge in free environments, and it is very important for them to be accepted by the public. In this regard, there is a great need for such think tanks in our country for the development of Konya, our region and country.
