He stated: "Our university has once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability on an international scale, as reflected in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2024 report. The results we have achieved show that we are making steady progress towards our green campus goals. This success is a testament to the fact that both our campus infrastructure and our education and research activities are shaped with an environment-focused approach. Through our Solar Energy Plant Project, approximately 10% of the university's annual electricity consumption is supplied by renewable energy sources. With around 780 solar panels installed on campus, we generate 312 kW of electricity annually. Our university continues to lead in this field with environmentally friendly infrastructure investments, energy efficiency projects, innovative waste management practices, and sustainable transportation solutions. I would like to thank all our academics, administrative staff, and students who have contributed to the successful progress of our university."
