Student clubs of Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) Karatay University have achieved significant success under the University Student Clubs Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES), implemented by the General Directorate of Youth Services. KTO Karatay University student clubs and the Youth Office have secured a total grant of 180,000 TL with their practical and sustainable projects aimed at contributing to the development of young people.
The “2024 University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report” prepared by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has been published. In the report evaluating 201 universities in Turkey based on 64 indicators across 5 areas, KTO Karatay University once again proved its place among the country’s leading universities.
The results of the 2025 World University Rankings (THE) have been published. In the ranking of the world's top universities, where more than 2,000 universities from 115 countries and regions were evaluated, and Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) Karatay University achieved notable successes across various performance indicators and sub-metrics.
Turkey’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival, TEKNOFEST, brought technology enthusiasts together this year in Adana. As a partner of TEKNOFEST, Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) Karatay University took its place in Adana. The WaterMelon team, composed of students from KTO Karatay University’s Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, achieved second place at the university level and above in the Smart Transportation Competition, part of the TEKNOFEST Champions League held for the first time this year. Additionally, T3 Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman and TEKNOFEST Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, along with Baykar Technology CEO Haluk Bayraktar, visited KTO Karatay University’s stand to learn about the university’s projects.
The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Laboratory of KTO Karatay University Intelligent Technologies Center (AKİTEK), operating under the Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) Innovative Technologies Center, has been accredited following evaluations by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK).
The July 2024 report of the "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities," which evaluates higher education institutions worldwide, has been published. Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) Karatay University has once again demonstrated its success by ranking 3,603rd among the world’s universities in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities report.
