Dear Students, Interior architecture is a profession that focuses on the aesthetic, functional, and ergonomic design, and organization of interiors. Interior architects enhance the functionality, aesthetics, practicality, and quality of interior spaces. Therefore, interior architects have the opportunity to work in many different sectors. The Interior Architecture Department of our university aspires to educate high-quality interior architects who pioneer innovative designs thanks to the developing technology and opportunities. Our university offers a scientific and systematic perspective based on scientific reasoning to students by combining practical and theoretical courses during education. Our university leads the way in innovative, problem-solving, highly functional designs that have the advantage of emerging technological advances. KTO Karatay University Interior Architecture Department students are entitled to graduate with two diplomas at the end of their four-year study upon participating in the double major program (DMP) in the Architecture Department. They also advance their skills in materializing their original designs in the Basic Design Workshop, Photography Workshop, and Drawing Workshop. Through multidimensional individual and teamwork in the studio and participation in conferences, students can create a variety of exciting new projects. Our graduates are employed by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change within the Republic of Türkiye, state and municipal governments, and private companies handling all types of interior design, and they may also start their own businesses. I hope that our students, who make a difference in the field of design, will produce original and impressive projects. I believe that achieving success in educational life requires patience, discipline, and openness to learning, so I want to express my love and respect for our students, believing that they can achieve their goals with determination and hard work.
