Objectives : Designing the ergonomical factors affecting the architectural design by examining the dimensions of the buildings and building equipments, the dimensions of the spaces that these equipments will be located in and the dimensions of the building elements, and helping the students to design according to the antropometrical physiological and psycho-social human needs.
Content : The definition of ergonomics, the ımportance and the aim of ergonomics / The determination of architecture- ergonomics relationship / The role of ergonomics in architectural design process / Study areas of ergonomics / Ergonomy techniques to measure users’ physical, physiological; biological, psychological, esthetical evaluations / Objective evaluation techniques / Subjective evaluation techniques/ The using possibility of ergonomy techniques in architectural design.
