Enabling students to work on new designs with the support of critiques those are under the influence of contemporary design tendencies, and to raise awareness of new materials and technological improvements and encourage students to use these materials are intended. Other aims include, teach students interior and furniture detailing solutions and enabling students elaborate the ways of project applications with today’s techniques. Since there is no one solution in design, the course aims to enable students realize the ways of constructing their projects under the light of basic detailing knowledge and to make students realize that detailing is an important complementary part of design. Teaching students to use all of the technical disciplines in interior architecture and to improve students’ ability to relate and coordinate interior architecture with other technical disciplines are the main aims of the course. Content : This course teaches technical details and knowledge related to interior detailing and enables students use these techniques and knowledge in their selected projects. Each course is made of 2 parts. The first part gives theoretical detail knowledge and techniques to students, and the second part includes workshop where designs of students are being discussed.
