Dear Students; As individuals in our increasingly globalized world must be far better equipped, the critical importance of foreign language skills is constantly increasing. In an age where English is universally acknowledged as the lingua franca of the modern world, translation has become an indispensable field of expertise and a unique profession that has taken its place in higher education around the world. In our English Translation and Interpretation Department, we offer world-class foreign language training by means of state-of-the-art and highly efficient methods and laboratories with our academics, who are experts in their field, following the newest trends in language studies, and who are native speakers of English or who can speak English at a native level. Our graduates may be employed in private or public institutions and organizations that demand language and translation services, in international organizations (European Union, United Nations, etc.), in international or national language service companies, in advertising companies, publishing houses and production and documentation companies that need technical texts. Alternatively, they may also run their own translation offices and work independently.
