Dear Students; KTO Karatay University's Department of Islamic Economics and Finance delivers undergraduate and graduate-level education to ensure that the perspective offered by Islam to economics and finance, in general, is understood and effectively applied. Our department, which produces a well-equipped workforce for the field and sector by means of expert teaching staff, journal publications, international exchange, and internship programs, performs qualified studies and projects. Our department features a four-year study program that combines theory and practice, including the theoretical background of Islamic economics and finance, the rules and principles of Islamic business law, contemporary Islamic financial practices, and conventional economics and finance courses. In addition, as part of this 7-semester curriculum, our students can learn different foreign languages, focus on their desired sub-disciplines, or take courses from other departments within our faculty. I wish all the students of the Department of Islamic Economics and Finance productive studies that will benefit them in the longest of runs. Prof. Dr. Hamdi DÖNDÜREN Head of Islamic Economics and Finance Department
