KTO Karatay University Department of Business Administration was established in 2010 with the establishment of the university. The Department of Business Administration is a four-year undergraduate programme based on the theory and practice of business administration. Business Administration undergraduate programme is in the form of formal education. The minimum duration of the programme is four years (eight semesters) and each academic term lasts 14 weeks. The language of instruction of the Business Administration undergraduate programme is Turkish. Students are placed in the department according to the equal weight scores of the central placement exam. Students are also admitted to the department through vertical and horizontal transfer exams every year. The curriculum of the Business Administration undergraduate programme is compatible with the Bologna process. The programme consists of 240 ECTS in total. Business Administration students can double major with other departments in the faculty within the framework of the relevant regulations. The department is included in the ERASMUS exchange programme, which both students and academics can benefit from, and has agreements with many universities from Europe. The main mission of the Department of Business Administration is to educate our students as managers, experts or business owners who have a command of the developing needs of the age, who can construct and apply management systems, who can produce solutions to macro economic and micro business problems. Adhering to this mission and goals, our department develops students' skills in theoretical and practical courses while simultaneously strengthening their ability to follow the production of knowledge at national and international level and to conduct research. The curriculum of the Department of Business Administration includes courses in which our students can fully master analytical techniques, industry / company-based projects, case studies. In addition to the basic field courses such as business administration, behavioural sciences, human resources management, accounting, international marketing, business finance, operations research, marketing research, production management, information management, finance, finance, law, the variety of elective courses in the programme allows students to make conscious orientations.
