Objectives : To enable students to meet philosophical questions and problems, to learn about the importance of philosophy, its subjects and currents, to recognize the thought phases of philosophy, the ways of philosophical thinking and reasoning, to develop critical thinking and critical thinking skills.
Content : This course focuses on the importance of philosophical thinking and the main problems of philosophy. The course primarily focuses on the contribution of philosophy to the individual and society, its relationship with science, religion, morality and art, the characteristics of philosophical thinking and knowledge, the source and value of knowledge, existence, the value of human beings, morality and ethics, and the role of philosophy in solving some problems that the professional man may encounter.
