Objectives : The main purpose of this course is to teach social work students the basic concepts, processes, methods and techniques of scientific research at the theoretical level.
Content : The course covers the basic foundations and concepts of scientific research; research types (models), the importance of research in social work, scientific research process and ethics in scientific research. The focus of the course is undoubtedly the scientific research process. In the research process; definition of the research problem, the purpose and sub-objectives of the research, literature review, design of the method (research model, universe and sample, data collection techniques, measurement of validity and reliability; data processing), findings, discussion, conclusion, recommendations and preparation of a scientific research report. .
