Objectives :
To enable the student to comprehend the difference between the concepts of illness-health, normal-abnormal and to be able to understand the formation of behavioral disorders depending on these concepts and to recognize behavioral disorders.
Content : Stages of personality development, adaptation functions of ego, ego defense mechanisms, concept of psychopathology, classification of mental disorders, introduction of mental disorders: Mental disability, Autism spectrum disorders, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Mood disorders, Suicide, Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, Anxiety disorders, Dissociative disorders and mental illnesses with somatic symptoms, Impulse control disorders, Personality disorders and Addictions
