Content : The course is based on the idea that it is important for students to be aware of the social, economic and cultural conditions they are in. Mainly; The change in the social structure of the Republic of Turkey from the Ottoman Empire; development characteristics of Turkey's social structure during the Republican period; Specific conditions of Turkish modernization; Turkey's socio-demographic population distribution; social stratification and social classes in Turkey, Turkey's economic structure is discussed.
