Graduates of this department can find jobs institutions and organizations in public and private sector that research and investigate in historical issues, and they can also work as History Teachers in the Ministry of National Education if they receive formation training and earn enough points from KPSS.It is also possible to be experts in archives, hand-written works libraries, printing and publishing establishments. Historians with the necessary certifications can also work in the fields of tourism, promotion, and guidance. Graduates are admitted to the Master's program if they meet the prescribed general qualifications and foreign language criteria, and they may also start academic life as Research Assistant in case of winning science exam and interview. However, they can serve as lecturers in the Ataturk Principles and History of Turkish Revolution departments of universities.
