Objectives : To enable the students to read the Ottoman archives easily and to understand the Ottoman historiography.
Content : Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives and Land Registry Cadastre Kuyud-ı Kadime Archive will be introduced, sample documents will be given. The works of Ottoman historiographers and historians from 1300 to 1700 will be examined.
