Content : Pre-Rome Italy and the Etruscans. The foundation of the Roman state. Social and economic structure in the Kingdom and Republic periods. Development of Roman law and relations with the West-Eastern Mediterranean regions. Christianity and Rome. Political structure. Demolition and East Rome / Byzantine. Byzantine-Turkish relations, political and religious relations with the Balkan nations. Internal conflicts in Byzantium.
