Objectives : The aim of this course is to ensure that the students have knowledge about the Seljuk state organization and civilization.
Content : Palaces and government organization in the Great Seljuks and Turkey Seljuks, councils, state and military organizations, social life, cultural institutions, religious politics, agriculture and animal husbandry, caravanserais and trade, medicine. Scientists and scholars in the Seljuks and their works. Divan-ı Lügati't-Türk. Nizamülmülk and Siyasetname, İbn'ül Cevzi, Sibt ibn'ül Cevzi, Beyhaki, İbni Bibi's works. Mevlana and Mevlevi, Shams-i Tabrizi, Sheikh Sadreddin Konevi's works. Ahmet Eflakî, Menakibül Arifin.
