Content : The history of birth, the definition of midwifery and the historical development of midwifery in the world and in our country, midwifery care philosophy, basic ethical values in midwifery practices, midwifery care models, midwifery models in developed countries, human-environment, health-disease and midwifery basic concepts are explained.
