Objectives : It aims to provide basic knowledge and skills of midwifery to give care to women and family.
Content : Basic concepts of midwifery; model of daily living activities; midwifery process: midwifery diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, registration and reporting; vital findings; laboratory practice; drug management; taking a blood sample; parenteral drug applications; intravenous fluid therapy; drug mistakes; providing and maintaining safe environments; patient admission-discharge and discharge process; patient safety; ensuring infection control and tissue integrity and wound care; maintenance of respiration and its applications; nutritional activity; discharge system and applications; body temperature activity hot-cold applications; management of pain; movement, body mechanics and patient movement; provision of sleep and rest; personal cleanliness and dressing activity; blood transfusion application; pre-, post-, and post-operative care; sexuality and sleep; loss and death processes.
