Content : Factors that play role in labor; physiology of labor, evaluation of mother, birth preparation of mother; birth stages, mechanism of labor, intravenous fluid and oral nutrition during labor; monitoring and care in the first, second, third, and fourth phases of action; preservation and birth positions of perinen; systemic response to maternal labor, pain during labor, evaluation of uterine contractions during labor; pain management at birth; response to fetal birth, assessment of fetal health in labor, initiation and maintenance of mother and baby interaction; postnatal period physiology; postnatal assessment; postnatal care; postnatal education.
