Objectives : It is aimed to gain the necessary theoretical knowledge about the basic concepts of psychology, life stages and development processes according to different theories.
Content : Self-concept, body image, self-esteem; the importance of having a personal identity and a healthy self-concept; self-recognition methods; the importance of self-knowledge in interpersonal relations and midwifery; introduction to psychology; perception, need, instinct, impulse, frustration, conflict, emotion; learning, intelligence, memory, attention development tasks, rules, development according to life stages; defense and coping mechanisms; piaget and theory of cognitive development; kohlberg moral development; sigmund freud, stages of psychosexual development; psychodrama; health psychology topics.
