Dear Students, KTO Karatay University Faculty of Health Sciences provides a brand new approach to the preexisting methods available in other institutions. In parallel with other professions that depend on human force and focus on humans, nursing is practiced upon the cumulative knowledge of social sciences, behavioral sciences and basic medical sciences. In this regard, thanks to the well-rounded curriculum; we are committed to producing graduates who are capable of regarding humans, their profession and health problems with both individual perspectives and holistic views, and solution-oriented as well as philanthropist (humanist). The essential goal of our department is to educate nurses who are capable of assuming leadership position and playing an important role in determining future advancements in health care with the scientific, ethical and humanist approach. Our university prioritizes producing knowledge, scientific research and community health care thanks to our highly-esteemed academic experts. As KTO Karatay University, we are able to grant our students hands-on training in our well-equipped laboratories, as well as in our classrooms fully equipped with audio and video equipment. Thereby, our students benefit from comprehensive practice and internship options in Konya's hospitals. Graduates have the opportunity to work in all private and public hospitals, family health centres, health centres, municipal health centres, rehabilitation centres, nursing homes for the elderly, home care agencies, emergency services, schools, corporate health services and healthcare institutions providing outpatient diagnostic and treatment services.
