Objectives : Republic of Turkey's founder Ataturk, carried out in line with the target level of contemporary civilization is to provide an understanding of the meaning and importance of the National Struggle.
Content : Establishment of the Ottoman Empire and its regression; The initiatives of the Ottoman Empire against the rise of Europe; The collapse of the Ottoman State; Mondros Armistice Treaty and its aftermath; Atatürk's activities in Anatolia: Preparations for the War of Independence; Opening of the Grand National Assembly; It includes the period of the War of Independence and the fronts.

Semester : In the evaluation of the course, 40% midterm exam and 60% final exam will take place. The students are obliged to attend the lectures, the laboratory and the applications in line with the principles determined by the related faculties, colleges or vocational colleges and to participate in the other studies which are accepted by all the lecturers and instructors during the semester. Students must attend 70% of theoretical courses and 80% of practical courses. Otherwise it is considered unsuccessful due to absenteeism.
