Dear Students, The drastic increase in health expenditure in the world and our country and the significant development of health technologies are leading to the rapid growth of the health sector. The Medical Imaging Techniques program offered within our University's Vocational School of Health Services is a two-year associate degree program that trains technicians to use medical imaging equipment that has a vital role in diagnosing disease and monitoring the treatment process. In the Medical Imaging Techniques degree program, our students receive extensive training in basic medical sciences throughout their education. This training constitutes the infrastructure for the vocational courses of our students. KTO Karatay University students are equipped with information on the construction and use of medical imaging equipment as professional courses, applied training and assessment per equipment, radiation protection, and the diseases they may face, whilst also receiving training on topics such as patient greeting and patient handling in radiology departments. With the conventional X-ray and mammography equipment available in our laboratories, our students can also improve their clinical skills and be well-prepared for the profession. Our graduates can work in medical imaging centers in private and public health facilities, in oral and dental health centers, and in medical practices by earning the title of Medical Imaging Technician. I wish all of our students a rather healthy and prosperous educational quest. Head of Medical Services and Techniques Program Lect. Merve ARI
