Dear Students, Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary department drawing on the specialities of machinery, electronics, software and control. As technology has evolved, so has the use of mechatronic systems in industrial and commercial companies started to increase, rendering mechatronics an essential field to meet the needs of today's companies. Our Mechatronics Program is dedicated to training skilled technical labor in the production of machinery, automation, robotic systems used in today's industrial and commercial areas with our specialized academic staff and in the introduction, design, installation, use, maintenance, repair and development of these technological structures. Our students also benefit from the advantage of being interwoven with the industrial area and experience theory and practice, along with compulsory and voluntary internship opportunities. In addition, our Mechatronics Program students can train and practice at the KTO Model Factory located at the KTO Technology and Education Campus. Upon successfully completing their studies, students are given an associate's degree diploma and the title of "Mechatronics Technician". Our graduates can work in many companies and institutions related to electro-electronics in the private sector. Mechatronic graduates can work as technicians in companies operating in many different fields such as control systems, robots, industrial automation, building automation, household products, automotive, defense industry, medical applications, aerospace engineering, image and sound processing, manufacturing, laser optical systems and intelligent measurement devices. I would like to welcome our new students and wish them all the best in their educational quest. Head of Electronic and Automation Program Lect. Taha Fatih ATEŞ
